Si tienes ya algun tiempo en Internet, probablemente has recibido avisos informando que existe un nuevo virus es temible, ya que destruira tu computadora y ademas te pide que envies este correo a todos sus conocidos... bueno, no lo hagas, el 99% de estos mensajes son falsos.

Estos correos que siempre incluyen una frase que dice:

  "por favor envien este mensaje a todos sus conocidos" 

Existen una infinidad de correos de este tipo y que usualmente los envian nuestros amigos o conocidos tratando de prevenirnos. Los mensajes siempre insisten en que es información importante y que debemos avisar a todo mundo reenviando ese correo. No solo la mayoria de estos correos son falsos, sino que es muy facil de modificar uno que sea verdadero hasta que se vuelva irreconocible, desgraciadamente es tan facil enviar copias a todos nuestros amigos, que estos avisos se propagan de una manera impresionante, por lo que se podrian considerar como una especie de virus.

Estos mensajes, engaños o "Hoax" tienen como unico proposito generar cadenas de correo y generar panico, es importante no caer en el juego.

Tambien muchos de estos engaños hacen declaraciones que son tecnicamente imposibles, como: Destruir la tarjeta de audio, formatear el teclado,borrar los disquettes que esten cerca de la computadora, esconderse en la memoria de la computadora o destruir el disco duro. Un virus puede borrar el disco duro e incluso formatearlo, pero NO destruirlo.

Si recibes un aviso sobre virus, confirmalo primero, visita este sitio, o los sitios de Zymantec o Mcaffe si el aviso no tiene una direccion donde se pueda confirmar, entonces tiralo a la basura, pues como el cuento del niño que gritaba lobo, cuando sea un verdadero aviso de virus, ya nadie le va a hacer caso.

Muchos de estos avisos dicen que IBM o Microsoft lo anunciaron en su pagina, pero estos sitios no se dedican a esto, y nunca envian correos masivos.
